WOMEN HAVE ALWAYS FOUND CREATIVE WAYS TO MAKE A STATEMENT WITH WHAT THEY WEAR. HOW WILL YOU DRESS IN PROTEST?

Birdsong London is a fashion house that is challenging the status quo with pride, warmth and confidence. They design and create ethical and sustainable wardrobe classics paying a fair wage to talented women in the UK, who would otherwise be facing barriers to employment.

Duzi was tasked with creating a new identity for this formidable brand, balancing their ambition with their humane and organic approach to fashion sustainability. We focused on a visual language that was both memorable and bold, but not overpowering and brash. It has an organic, personable touch through the use of soft shapes and scribbled bird silhouettes. The typographical logo is a smart update on the original, with the aim of appealing to both a young and more mature audience. The overall effect, paired with warm, earthy colours, is an inviting aesthetic with a purpose.
