Initiative Earth is a charity that empowers and enables individuals and communities to take action to support environmental restoration and regeneration. We promote a vision where people, economies and nature thrive together. Our mission is ambitious: we want to co-create a world that thrives through happier and healthier cultures globally. Our method, however, is simple. We want to ignite imaginations through practical education to restore ecosystems, revitalise communities and regenerate local economies. We are here for everyone - whether you’re a farmer, land worker or just getting your hands in the earth for the first time.

our approach.

Initiative Earth’s mission recognises the layers associated with ecological change and development. This is true of the emotional and physical involvement of an individual and their aspirations (ecological restoration, mental health, community revitalization, shifting cultural narratives and human ecologies) but also true of the community of changemakers as a greater whole. In the visual identity we created for the initiative, we focused on the diversity and varied positions within Initiative Earth’s community by exploring layered image treatments and moving forms. An identity that is immersive yet interpretable, structured yet flexible, which will allow Initiative Earth to hero key themes of collaboration and imagination.
